AM I A WATCHMAN CANDIDATE?

If you have AFib that is not caused by a heart valve problem, the Watchman may be an option for you. The Temple Heart & Vascular Institute offers the procedure to patients with non-valvular AFib who:

  • Currently take Warfarin or another anticoagulant medicine, such as Pradaxa, Eliquis, Xarelto, Savaysa, or Jantoven.
  • Would benefit from a safe, effective alternative to blood thinners due to bleeding complications or frequent falls that increase the risk of a life-threatening bleed.
