When it comes to getting an MRI exam, it’s not uncommon to feel anxious or worried. Some patients fear that they will be claustrophobic in the machine while others are concerned with staying still.
At Temple University Hospital – Jeanes Campus, we want your MRI experience to be as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Our MRI machine has a large opening designed for patients with mild claustrophobia. It also accommodates patients up to 500 pounds.
Our machine features soft foam padding to minimize pressure points and reduce any movement during the scan. Your MRI technologist will also be there to guide you during the exam.
